Whimsical Gothic Revival Renovation

With this renovation, Studio Borges was tasked with incorporating our client’s whimsical style, along with some beloved family heirlooms into the design of this unique 1854 Gothic Revival residence.

A wonderful and trusting collaboration through and through, our team completely transformed this wonderfully unique storybook space.  Studio Borges managed to infuse color, whimsy, and personality into this home to reflect the vibrant young family and their interests.  The result is truly a stunning renovation and design that feel perfectly at home in this antique property.  A medley of family heirlooms harmoniously coexist with modern custom furnishings, lighting and art.   New library built-ins are perfectly suited to house the client’s extensive literary collection.  This project is a true testament to our mission of joyful storytelling through design.
